Jesus said, "It is finished."

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27

Then they asked him, "What must we do TO DO THE WORKS GOD REQUIRES?" Jesus answered, "THE WORK OF GOD IS THIS: TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE HE HAS SENT." John 6:28-29

When Jesus saw their FAITH, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." Mark 2:5

"Go," said Jesus, "your FAITH has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Mark 10:52

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus answered him, "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE." Luke 23:39-43

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and BELIEVES him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24

Then they asked him, "What must we do TO DO THE WORKS GOD REQUIRES?" Jesus answered, "THE WORK OF GOD IS THIS: TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE HE HAS SENT." John 6:28-29

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will NEVER go hungry, and he who BELIEVES IN ME will NEVER be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I WILL NEVER DRIVE AWAY. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. AND THIS IS THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME, that I shall lose NONE of ALL THAT HE HAS GIVEN ME, but RAISE THEM UP at the last day. For my Father's will is that EVERYONE WHO LOOKS TO THE SON AND BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY." John 6:35-40

"I tell you the truth, he who BELIEVES has everlasting life." John 6:47

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who BELIEVES IN ME will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and BELIEVES IN ME will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26 "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, who was to come into the world." John 11:27

The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?" They replied, "BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS, AND YOU WILL BE SAVED-you and your household." Acts 16:29-31

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness THAT IS BY FAITH from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will LIVE BY FAITH." Romans 1:16-17

But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST to ALL WHO BELIEVE. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are JUSTIFIED FREELY by HIS GRACE through THE REDEMPTION that came by CHRIST JESUS. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those WHO HAVE FAITH IN JESUS. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, BUT ON THAT OF FAITH. For we maintain that a man is justified BY FAITH apart from observing the law. Is god the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised BY FAITH and the uncircumcised THROUGH THAT SAME FAITH. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. Romans 3:21-31 (RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH FAITH is the name of that section!)

Since we have now been justified BY HIS BLOOD, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath THROUGH HIM! For if, when we were God's enemies, WE WERE RECONCILED TO HIM THROUGH THE DEATH OF HIS SON, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved THROUGH HIS LIFE! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, THROUGH whom we have now received RECONCILIATION. Romans 5:9-11

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES. Romans 10:4

But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and IN YOUR HEART," that is, THE WORD OF FAITH we are proclaiming; That if you CONFESS with your mouth, "JESUS IS LORD," and BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your HEART that you BELIEVE and ARE JUSTIFIED, and it is with your MOUTH that you CONFESS and ARE SAVED. As the Scripture says, "ANYONE WHO TRUSTS IN HIM WILL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME" For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses ALL WHO CALL ON HIM, for, "EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." Romans 10:8-13

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Romans 2:20-21

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is BY GRACE you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms IN CHRIST JESUS, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches OF HIS GRACE, expressed in his kindness to us IN CHRIST JESUS. For it is BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED, through FAITH-and this NOT FROM YOURSELVES, it is the GIFT OF GOD-NOT BY WORKS, so that NO ONE can BOAST. For we are God's workmanship, created IN CHRIST JESUS to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:4-10

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them RUBBISH, that I may gain Christ and be found IN HIM, NOT HAVING A RIGHTEOUSNESS of MY OWN that comes from the law, but that which is THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST-the righteousness that comes FROM GOD and IS BY FAITH. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:7-11 (NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH is the name of that section!)

See to it that NO ONE takes you captive through HOLLOW and DECEPTIVE philosophy, which depends on HUMAN TRADITION and the basic PRINCIPLES OF THIS WORLD rather than ON CHRIST. Colossians 2:8

(Because it's worth repeating) "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27
