Make a joyful noise to the LORD

Make a joyful noise to the LORD , all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody!

With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD !

Psalms 98:4‭-‬6

Above all these put on love

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Colossians 3:12‭-‬15

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Psalms 139:13‭-‬16

Before You Were Born

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5

The Plans

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11

The Propitiation for our Sins

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1 John 4:9‭-‬10

How to block prosperity preachers on Facebook

First of all, don’t subscribe or ‘like’ their facebook pages.

Second, if you have a friend who follows these prosperity “teachers” and likes to re-share their false propaganda, do this:

In your news feed scroll over to the down arrow at the upper right corner of the post > click on the down arrow > select “Hide all from ___”

That should do the trick!

I’m pretty sure you can do the same thing on your smart phones and devices.

Easy Peasy!!

Prosperity Theology – I don’t believe it!

There seem to be a lot of pastors, preachers, and teachers trying to convince the world that you can receive wealth and health by being positive and faithful, and that it’s God’s will for all of us to receive this type of blessing.

I think that’s a bit misleading and selfish to think that one can go through life without having a single health issue, access to lots of money all the time, and no problems to sort out.

What does the Prosperity Gospel teach people? Does this “gospel” teach people that if they are experiencing problems in life that their faith isn’t strong enough or that God is somehow trying to punish them on purpose because they weren't positive all the time?

If you are sitting in a church where Jesus is not preached you may want to think about attending a new church. There are lots of churches to choose from. It can’t hurt to go church shopping, especially if you are familiar with your bible and are looking for a sound bible-based church.
